Charities Gateway
The Herefordshire Gateway is a unique referral service to charities and voluntary agencies providing professional services throughout the County. The Gateway has been designed to allow organisations to refer their clients on quickly and securely to appropriate support services delivered in their home area.
How the Process Works
Client referrals can be made by registered users through the secure web-site. Click here to contact us to become a registered user.
A freephone telephone number is available, weekdays only, from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. The freephone number is 0800 195 4550.
Once a referral is received our Gateway Officer will respond to your enquiry and refer onwards to the appropriate charity. The Charity will then make direct contact with your client within 48 hours.
Matching Services to Clients before Referral
You can undertake searches by typing the required search text into the Search box at the top of the screen. This will search the organisations, services, news and jobs for the text you enter. A secondary search will allow you to search the Organisations' details for the text string.
Joining the Gateway
If you are a charity or voluntary agency providing services in Herefordshire and wish to join the Herefordshire Gateway please complete the Make an Enquiry form. After your details are uploaded onto the website any referrals for you will go through the Gateway Officer. He/she will contact you by email or by CharityLog if your Organisation is a subscriber. You should be able to respond to client enquiries within 48 hours.
